How to check for OTA updates on 6.0

A few weeks ago, I updated my Nexus 6 to Marshmallow, and i was just looking through the settings to try and see if there are any available updates yet because I'm running into some issues (E.g. Clock not working), and I couldn't seem to find it anywhere and I was just trying to find out if there is someway to check it because I would like to get updates as soon as they come out, Cheers :)

Hi, when you go into settings, right down the bottom there should be "about my phone" click that then click software updates.

EDIT: For the clock...
In Settings, under Date and Time, Select Automatic Date and Time and Automatic time zone.

and depending on how you updated your phone...(Unlocked? Rooted?) you might not receive updates until its locked again...If you did an OTA update (Manually or pushed) your OK.

Yeah that is the first place I checked and it just wasn't there :/, My phone is rooted and I installed 6.0 manually, I downloaded the full version off Google's developers page

I think it is better to ask the solution of your problem rather then asking about updates. please describe your issue in detail so we can guide you

Well I want to check for updates, and where the "check for updates" tab normally is, isn't there, Its some how vanished :/

LOL Thought it was obvious I was explaining how to fix the clock...If the clock isn't working it shouldn't have to do with an update...Did you think I was explaining how to do an update by setting the clock?

The "Tallguy already explained how to check for updates....

Yes I know that!, The clock has always been on automatic time, but I go to about phone, but then there is no "Check for Updates" tab, back on 5.0 it was there, but for some reason its not, BTW I'm talking about the Clock app not working, And yes, I've un-installed it and re-installed it, 3 times!

It's not there because you are rooted. If you unroot it will appear hopefully. Also, check Google Services Framework (i dont know if it exists anymore) is enabled in apps.

I can't be sure if this is accurate for Marshmallow as the latest version I have used was Lollipop.
