Is there a reason you are wanting to clear RAM? Android now, especially with the new phones, runs much better with full RAM.

Don't worry about it.

Android handles RAM differently than Windows. It's normal, desirable behavior for RAM to run around 75-80% full, maybe even a little higher.

Let Android handle things as intended. It will automatically optimize operation if you let it.

Not always true. For example... After too many process have built up running on my note 3 (mind you)... I run into massive lag on games. I hold the home button down, go to the memory tab (little pie chart thing) and choose to clear memory. Works for me anyways.

Manual clearing of RAM should not be necessary. I never do it.

Sounds like you have poorly coded apps that are refusing to release RAM when the system requests.

You really should find the cause of the problem and correct it instead of slapping Band-Aids on it by clearing RAM or killing processes when the phone gets slow. That just makes the problem worse.

Install System Panel. It will tell you what's active and what's not, what's eating RAM or CPU cycles, etc. Excellent troubleshooting tool.

Remember, RAM usage is supposed to be high, that is correct, desired behavior. Not like 95-100%, but high.

You might benefit from RAM Truth too.

Actually now that I think of it the only game that I do find acts wonky is that stupid candy crush game. Lol. Other than that phone is great.

I see ppl complaining about the small amount of free RAM a lot, but I don't get it. Like someone already said, this ain't Windows! Free RAM is wasted RAM, a good OS would load as much into RAM as possible, and dump as needed.
