How do I connect my seprate s-pen to my tablet without spen? thanks!

Hello! So my dad just bought my seprate s-pen and it arrived today. I realy really really want to know how to connect because that way, I dont have to use my little brother's samsung tab a with the spen. Thank you so much for your time.

The tablet needs to support use of an S Pen for it to work, there is no pairing or connecting process. If the pen isn't working on your tablet it's because it doesn't have the required hardware to work.

The S Pen utilizes technology from Wacom and requires a compatible stylus and screen for it to work because there is an additional hardware layer in the screen for the S Pen to interact with.

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet do you have?

not all samsung tablets can use the s-pen. you can use a regular stylus which works pretty good unless you do artwork.
