Welcome to Android Central! Downloaded files? Open the Downloads app, long-press the file, and tap the garbage can or Delete button. If you don't see them in the Downloads app, then use a file manager app (try Total Commander if the phone didn't come with one preinstalled), go to the Download directory, and delete the files there.
Some apps will download files to their own specific directory, so you may have to use the file manager app to look around for that directory.
