How do I delete emails from my Blu phone?

how do I delete emails from Blu phone

emails are downloaded to the phone. The setting is delete when I delete but the next time I go into emails ...all are still there. I have even gone into the provider's website and deleted the email but I can't get out of my phone

Welcome to Android Central! Who's your email provider? If you can use an IMAP server for that account, it'd be much better than older POP3 servers: IMAP vs POP3
