how do I delete pictures from phone to free up memory for more?

I downloaded pictures from my note 4 to my laptop but don't know how to delete them from my phone to free up memory space. How can I safely erase pictures already downloaded to pc?

You can only delete the photo in either your Camera or Downloaded folder. Have you tried that?

You can use My Files or any other file manager app to delete the photo file from the /DCIM/Camera directory. But if there are a lot of photos to delete, this may be tedious, since you have to select photos one by one. It'd be easier to connect the phone to your computer via USB, and use Windows Explorer to multi-select all of the photos and delete them.
