How do I delete sms messages off my watch without it being deleted from my phone?

I have a Galaxy watch and a S8 phone. I want to delete my SMS messages from my watch but leave them intact from on my phone.

Which texting app are you using on your phone? Curious why you want them deleted from your watch? If you use anything other than stock Samsung Messages, then the full text threads would not be saved on your watch. Although, I think the texts you send are on your watch, which is odd.

How do you disconnect them, i tried just disconnecting the bluetooth connection but as so as they linked again they where deleted.
