How do I delete the password that I created for my device?

New to android

Just switched from Blackberry to Galaxy S5 and at age 75 am slightly technically challenged! Started by creating a Password for my device but now would like to delete it. Can't figure out how to do this?

Welcome to the forums. A password for your entire phone? Like on your lock screen?

Welcome! Try settings/my device/lock screen, change the setting to Swype.
Then you simply Swype across the screen to unlock it.
