How do I delete the sent/received folder?

When I go to add a picture to a text message a sent/received folder pops up. How do I delete that folder?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you really have an HTC EVO 4G LTE? It's a pretty old phone, so I'm just checking to make sure you posted in the correct forum.
