Android Central Question

Hi,

I've had my Frontier for a few months now and the one stat that would be nice to have is how many steps taken during a workout - any workout. I thought it would show that during a manual or auto-started walk workout but I haven't seen it or cant find it. Am I missing something or is this just not there?

Thanks,

-j

I moved this to the Gear S3 forum for more specific traffic.

Not that I've seen. You'll need to make a note of your current step count prior to any exercising.

Are you looking for how many steps you have for the day total or just during the walk itself? If it is total for the day, just hit the back button during the auto workout and it will back out of it but keep it going when it goes back to sleep. I have step count on my watchface so I just hit back to see the count there and continue to walk.

You can do this is by using a third-party app called Health sync. The app will sync activities and all S Health Data to Google fit. If you open the activity within Google fit it will show you the number of steps for that activity.
