Android Central Question

I have a Galaxy S7 Edge. Quite often, I use it to access my home computer via remote desktop. I recently purchased a bluetooth keyboard for ease-of-use, but I'm having issues with Android's seemingly baked-in physical keyboard shortcuts - my phone takes my input from the keyboard and acts upon it, rather than forwarding that input to my remote desktop. For example, when I press "Escape," rather than my remote desktop performing the intended function, my phone backs out to the home screen instead. Alt+Tab works in a similar way - my phone backs out of remote desktop to show me the list of apps that are running, but I'd like the command to switch windows on my desktop computer.

Is there a way to disable these shortcuts altogether, or at least a workaround that would allow my phone to forward these inputs to my remote desktop?

Honestly I believe there are different shortcuts used for Remote Desktop than if you were directly connected and using a mouse and keyboard. For instance if you were remotely connected to a desktop and pressed Shift+tab, is that to back up on the message block being displayed on the remote desktop or to back up on the device you're using??? There are likely variances that account for which actions you want taken on the remote device vs the actions you want taken on the user device.

I found this article, although 2 years old it may hold something of value, describing shortcuts used during remote access... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...hortcut-keys&usg=AOvVaw2Trs2IUKtxO7u8u0dzKCJw
