Hello. Welcome to Android Central.

You don't want to receive emails associated with your Google account?

Best way is to go to Accounts - Google with the Sync toggle on, and uncheck / disable Gmail syncing.

You may also disable / force stop the Gmail app in Settings - Applications Manager - All, or remove the account from the Samsung Email client app.
I think that would cover it. .

You may miss out on important information relating to your Play Store account etc.
