How do I disable/remove Smart Manager from Alcatel 1S

Can anyone tell me how to disable or remove Smart Manager from the Alcatel 1S (2020) please?

The app is preinstalled and the Disable option is inactive and there is no option to uninstall.

The app annoyingly gives me constant notifications about other apps that need 'optimising' and there is not even a way to disable the notifications from Smart Manager.

Apart from this one annoyance I'm pretty happy with the phone and was considering getting another for my son but this issue is making me think twice. Why do phones even come with pre-installed, non-removable apps?!

Welcome to Android Central! You'd probably have to root the phone to get rid of it. Some phones have an available Package Disabler app, but I think that's only for Samsung.
