how do i do this with photos?

My girlfriend sent me a picture of her as a mms and I don't. Know how to save it where I can see it at anytime. And I can't save pics from google images. Can droid not save pictures?

sadly, android doesnt allow you to save images from mms messages. there is a free app in the marketplace called save mms that will allow you to do that

yes it does.

longpress on it in the message thread (don't click on it first) and a menu will come up with a save option
