How do I downgrade from 5.1 to 4.4.4?

How To Downgrade From 5.1 to 4.4.4

I have Motorola Moto G and downloaded 5.1 a couple days ago.
The Contacts disappeared and it doesn't sync Contacts on "Account".
I would like to downgrade to previous rev where it worked fine.
So, how can I downgrade?

Hello David, welcome to the forums!

First you could try wiping the cache partition on recovery. This is good practice after a system update and it could fix some of those problems. Tell us how it goes.

How do you do that because my contacts have disappeared aswell

I don't think downgrading to KitKat will bring back contacts, if they were lost and not synced or backed up anywhere. Downgrading would also require rooting. See response in this other thread: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...ts-have-disappeared-randomly.html#post4796698
