How do I download my Samsung Note 4

Imovie 2014 doesn't recognize my videos on my my note. I see it is connected, it recognizes that but I want to get the video's off my phone and edit them into movies.
Need some help.

I have to say I love my Note 4 but pairing it with a Mac computer which I would never leave is very difficult. Not enjoying the experience. Android needs it's own version of Itunes that's a one stop shop of apps, movies, video's, photo's etc.

Not sure what you mean. You can buy apps movies, videos, and music from the Google play store

Plug the phone into the Mac. It should show up as a drive. Find the movie in that drive. Drag it to the Mac. The rest is up to you. (iMovie may not handle the file format that the Note 4 creates, so you'll have to use a video converter to recode the video.)
