How do I enable Samsung S7 Edge messages app to show the full msg in the speech bubble in nougat?

When I send or receive texts that are long text message (within the limit of 160 characters times 3 ) I can see them in one bubble in the marshmallow and previous Android versions. But with the nougat update, this is now making the speech bubble smaller, and to see the full message is to click on the "View All" button to be taken to a full screen with the whole message, which is pretty annoying. Wonder why Samsung (or google) has changed this while it was good before. I have tried to search for an option to turn this off but no where to be seen. Am more than happy to keep the stock messages app as it's always been good ever since I got the S3 phone! Be great if someone can point me to resolving this one. Thank you.

Yes, I also have that issue. It is really annoying having to click on the "View All" button over and over just to reply to long messages. I have looked online and this is the only place I found where someone shares my concern. Hopefully Samsung does an update where we can configure the option to see the entire message in the thread.

I know it's one tiny extra step, but it was not like this in Marshmallow. If it isn't broken, don't fix it, right? Idk. I find it very annoying to have to go to a different screen just to view the entire message. Especially when replying, I often go back to the message to make sure my replies are coherent.

Based on the millions of complaints, currently the only option is to pick a different SMS app.
