How do I fix my LG in a boot loop?

Hi I have a LG K8V through Verizon. My phone just recently went into a boot loop for no reason. The phone comes on. Goes as far as the LG screen, and the resets. I been reading different sites and from what I read. I have to update the software from the PC to the phone to be able to fix this problem. But my PC don't read my phone @ all! Even with the LG Bridge program. I even took the battery and sim card out for 20 mins., and put them both back in. Still didn't fix it! How can I fix this phone? It's driving me insane. That I can't figure out how to fix it. Can someone PLEASE help me! Thanks..
