Welcome to Android Central! Go to the App Manager, select MyFiles, and Force Stop, then Clear Cache. If that doesn't work, then also Clear Data. This won't erase any actual files--only the database in MyFiles. When you open MyFiles again, it should rebuild that database on its own.

Find MyFiles in applications, disable or remove if possible, if you cannot remove, then be sure to uncheck the box that says allow notifications.
Then, download File Manager HD and use that instead.
