How do I get a perfect launcher app

Basically there have been many launchers and some proved great but they still don't have some of my stock widgets. Specifically my stock clock (weather and clock 4x1 or 4x2), my 4 day weather (4x4), my HTC calendar (4x1), and my music widget (4x2) How can I get past this debacle?

Have you tried Nova Launcher? As far as I can tell, you should be able to use any of your widgets on Nova just as you would on the stock launcher.

You can't. Stock widgets are tied to the stock launcher. If you want to use another launcher consider an alternative to those widgets, which there are many in the Play Store.

But with Nova Launcher, I'm able to access all of the stock widgets on my Razr Maxx ...

I found out this past weekend I can only use my stock weather widgets with the stock launcher. I really like my stock weather widgets but I hate the stock launcher. Oh well.

I can use the stock clock widget with a different launcher though, and maybe some of the others.

I never looked into using widgets before because up until recently I didn't really understand how they were different from icons.

Really? I thought you couldn't use any of the widgets tied to the stock launcher - good to know

I wonder if it's specific to the phone, the launcher, or the underlying UI. All I can say is that stock widgets from Motorola Motoblur on the original Razr Maxx can be used with Nova. It'd be interesting if other people with Nova can test it out on their devices and give us their feedback.

I tried my stock widgets with Nova (free version) but the weather and at least one of the others wouldn't load. (On LG Optimus F7.) But a clock widget did load on both Apex and Nova, and so did a WiFi toggle. I didn't try them all yet.
