How do I get a Xbox 360 wireless controller (with usb receiver) to work on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4?

how to get Xbox 360 wireless controller (with usb receiver) to work on Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4

I was able to get my 360 wireless controller to work with my phone galaxy s4, but I was unable to get it to work with my tablet, Galaxy S 8.4. I do have the microsoft usb receiver.

Has anyone had any success or know how I can get this to work on the S 8.4?

Now it won't work on my s4 anymore either. I wonder if my OTG cable has crapped out.

I have a brand new one so it's not that. As works fine on my Sony experia z1. Guess something Samsung have done?

Same problem here, Galaxy Tab S 8.4 won't recognize the wireless gamepad. I can't find anything online about debugging the issue, so I'm guessing it just works for most people after pairing with the dongle. The dongle looks to be getting sufficient power (the led is on), but I may try a separate power source for it.

If this is something Samsung has done, it's time to sell this piece of TouchWiz garbage and buy a Shield or Nexus 9. I'll certainly miss the beautiful screen and lightness, though.

I guess so. It's pretty poor of them to do it. I shall keep this in mind in the future when I replace my tablet

Me too. The light works but the controller doesn´t . It's a wired too. I bought the OTG a few hours ago.
