Google Now on my 6P would give me a 15-minute notification when I needed to drive to an appointment that was on my Google for Work calendar. It would calculate the drive time for the given address and was super useful. Now I have the Pixel XL with Oreo and want this feature to show up. Anybody know how to get this installed/implemented?
How do I get an alert when it is time for me to drive to an appointment?

Do you have location history turned on? If that's off, location-based reminders as well as driving ones will be disabled.
Location history is on. I just looked at my last drive and it was all correctly recorded. Thanks for the suggestion.

mine has always been automatic as long as the event is on my calendar with a location.
but there is a setting on the feed under notifications for recommend departure times, you can check if that's on
