Re: Broken Headphones in Aux Jack!

Since these plugs go in with some pressure, it's gonna be hard getting it out.

Now that that is out of the way, what I would do is try some of the following:
1) I don't know what material your headphones used, but if it's a magnetizable material, you could use a strong magnet to try and get it out. Problem is finding a thin enough magnet for this.

2) Get a thin metal rod (can be a pen) that can reach the broken part. Use crazy glue (just be EXTRA careful not to touch anything but the broken plug), wait until it dries, and pull.

3) Pliers. Usually if it's broken it's gonna be hollow, so you can use a pair of pliers to grab one of the edges and pull out.

Re: Broken Headphones in Aux Jack!

Take the back off of the phone, remove the battery.

use a very fine steel rod with a point on it.

with a magnifying glass, you should be able to see the plug where it is inserted into the socket.

with some very careful pry bar action, gently prod it back out of the socket.

definitely do NOT use any kind of glue. I have read of too many horror stories trying that method. glue will smear and run, permanently fusing everything into one melting pot.
