How do I get Google Earth?

Sorry this might be a dumb question.. but I couldn't figure it out last night. I tried to search for it in Android Market.. and looked over my phone. Didn't see it. Closest thing I saw in the market was Google Earth Blog or something?

My brother has it on his phone (Moto Droid) He said it was named something other than "Google Earth" Soon as he wakes up I will call him and post the name, unless of course you found it by then. Oh, he did get it from Marketplace if thats any help.. ?

For some odd reason the Incredible does not see it. Maybe someone with the N1 can back it up using Astro and share it with everyone.

They are on 2.1 (Incredible) yet somehow HTC did something that makes it not show up in the market.

Yeah. Click on the link from your phones browser. It will download. Then use Astro, find the downloads folder, open it, find the apk and install it.

When do you think Google will update their download page to allow the Droid Incredible to download Google Earth?

I had it backed up on my sdcard and it won't work on the Incredible so they to fix that first. Once they have it running on the Incredible we will be able to download it from the market and I would guess a week to 2.

HTC has a problem with the market and certain apps. Google eart is one.

Actually its an HTC issue. Nothing to do with VZW.

Its not a Google issue its a incredible software issue.
Should be fixed in the update that normally accompanies any release.

I love this phone but I'm envious of the N1 for running real google earth. I do industrial roofing and was looking forward to this bad ass phone pulling potential customers from the sky on the fly.

What do you mean the real Google earth? I'm pretty sure you can download it from the market, same version as the N1. You can on the Droid at least so I'm sure it's the same for the Incredible, it's on 2.1.

Try it again, I just searched on my Droid and it showed up. Just search for "earth", it was the first one for me.
