How do I get landscape Virtual keyboard to appear?

I've been turning the phone for half n hour and nothing the screen stays portrait until I pull the hard keyboard out?

There is a virtual one...right?

Go to settings-display- then enable orientation then you be able to use the phone in landscape.

also, the screen will not rotate if you're at the home screen unless you slide out the keyboard.
only application screens rotate with it shut.

to pull up the virtual keyboard, just click in an entry field and it will pop up so you can write stuff.
