How do I get my apps back after a factory reset?

I just did a factory reset on my Thunderbolt and the market only shows 7 apps. Where's the rest?

The market app will only show your paid apps for redownload. I've noticed that the web-based market (market.android.com), keeps track of all your downloads, paid and free. Go there and hit the install buttons to send them all to your phone.

I did a factory reset on my tab 730. I lost 7 apps. when i go to google play store and press install it says installed and will not install again. My file manager doesn't show the app. what am I doing wrong?
