How do I get my Epic (SERO upgrader)?

I'm confused as to how to best get my Epic in hand as soon as possible, since I'll be upgrading on Friday Oct 1 to the SERO premium plan.

Do I have to upgrade over the phone with Sprint or can I do it in a store? Whenever I'm in Sprint stores the reps don't seem to know much about SERO plans. I'm counting on getting the "discounted" price for renewing my contract.

If I don't have to do it on the phone - am I able to shop around to find the best deal on an Epic? Or will I not be eligible for the discounted rate?

The Sero Premium rules require you to either order it from Sprint.com, order it by phone from Sprint, or get it at a Sprint-owned retail store. You cannot buy it from a non-Sprint retailer, such as Best Buy and still activate it on Sero Premium.

When you order an upgrade phone from Sprint, you don't activate it until after you receive it (unlike a Sprint store, from which you cannot walk out without having already activated it). With this in mind, I already have my Epic 4G, and am just waiting 'till Friday to activate it.

If I don't have to do it on the phone - am I able to shop around to find the best deal on an Epic? Or will I not be eligible for the discounted rate?

You can use the subsidized price, but you won't be able to shop for a deal, because all the purchase options have the same price (except that mail-ordering it from Sprint avoids the $18 upgrade fee that Sprint stores charge).

My recommendation: Order online. Then, when you call sprint, you can make sure you get ahold of someone who understands Sero to activate it. I think the special 800 number used for EPRP program gets you to a department that should be more informed.

I had the Sero plan and upgraded on Sept 5th to the newer plan because I really wanted to Epic and back then I wasn't allowed to keep the sero plan for 4g phones... now that they have changed the rules and im still within 30 days do you think I will be able to get sprint to get me back to my original plan?

My wife & I went to a Sprint-owned store yesterday to upgrade our SERO plans. The guy knew what SERO was but couldn't find the codes for the new plans in the system, so he called corporate. They took care of our upgrades for him over the phone. We walked out with two new Epics. Then last night we both logged into our Sprint accounts online to find out that they had changed us to the EveryThing Plus 500 for $59.99 + $10 Premium Data. I called 888-876-8381 and they straightened it all out no problem. Both people I talked to on the phone last night to straighten this out were VERY understanding and helpful.

how much is this plan I want back on it sero plan is for friends of family working at sprint yes or no?
