Sorry if this is already documented, feel free to send me that way if you know where it is. New to Droid 2. Have pictures or 2 that I used to use as Wallpaper on my BB. I'd like to do the same on the Droid. Is that possible? I tried sending the pictures to myself on email, thinking I could open the picture and set it as Wallpaper but doesn't seem to work. Other options? I am using Yahoo Email application but for purposes of doing this wallpaper could use my gmail acct if I have to. Help! I miss my picture,...

You should be able to load them onto the SD card or internal memory. Since I use a mac I just put my microSDHC card into a usb reader and copy them over.

What didn't work? Sending the pictures or trying to set them as a wallpaper. If you did get them in your inbox on your D2 the pictures should be in you download folder which should show up in you gallery. If not you may need to use a file manager like astro which you can download from the market. Once you locate the picture open it and hit menu>set as>wallpaer then crop if need and enter.

hmmm, do you mean take the card out of my phone, put in my computer, copy the pictures, put back into the phone?

The pictures came thru email, and they are in the download file, but it won't let me do anything with them. Or I don't know how to do it. There is no folder that shows them in my gallery as far as I can tell. I'll check again,,,

Save them to the DCIM folder on your SD card, that's where the gallery looks for pictures. Then you go into the Gallery and select the picture and it will open. Then press the Menu button and choose "More", then choose "Set As" and choose Wallpaper.
