Congratulations on your new G2! Where are the photos you want to put on the phone? If they're on your computer, you can do a couple of things:
1. Manually copy the photos over to your phone's internal storage, either by connecting the phone with your USB cable, or by doing it wirelessly. If you connect the phone with the USB cable, you should be able to access the media folders on your phone using your computer's file explorer. You should then be able to drag and drop your photos to copy or move them. If you want to do it wirelessly, try an app like
AirDroid or
Wifi File Explorer.
2. Upload your photos to a cloud service like Google+ Photos or Flickr. You can then access those photos from any device, and download any that you want to keep on your device. Google+ gives you 15 GB of free storage, while Flickr gives you 1 TB (that's
terabyte) of free storage, so if you have a lot of photos, go with Flickr.
