Is it possible to get rid of the giant clock that shows on the lock screen? Just under that it shows my alarm time and the word "Sprint". I'd like to get rid of those also if possible.

With lockscreen widgets on stock Android, it's a little tricky to remove the widget on the main lockscreen. On the main lockscreen, before entering your PIN or pattern, swipe down from the clock widget. The pattern dots should slide off, and you should just have the clock filling the lockscreen. Lift your finger off, then long press the widget again--you will now be able to remove that lockscreen widget.

When i remove the clock widget it then tells me to add a widget. But the huge clock widget comes back even after i remove it... how to keep it off?

I tried this, but nothing happens when I touch or swipe the clock. I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime. Maybe it's my type of phone?

Welcome to Android Central! This is a pretty old thread about the G2--lockscreen widgets went away with Lollipop, and I'm assuming your Grand Prime is at least on Lollipop.
