This thing is so annoying. I updated my phone the other day and now I have this annoying recent and short cut screen that keeps coming up in the corner if my phone. It's annoying because I cannot play games any more without it appearing in the corner of my screen. And when it does it ruins my games causing me to loose. I have to keep selecting the back button to get out of it. Now it starts to even take me to Google search screen. I have android don't know what version

If you have the Clean Master app on your device you can turn it off through the tools section ,but Clean Master will keep asking if you want to add that annoying feature .I didn't like the short cut either as I'm an avid gamer myself. I found that the root of the whole problem was with Clean Master by Cheetah. It basically took over my devices and left me just as an observer and a slave to it's functions. It would freeze my games , shut down my devices and reboot them . Extremely annoying for a gamer...SO ,I uninstalled Clean Master and ALL is well. I also found out that we really don't need all these app cleaners that really steal control and use up way too much space /storage . My tablets pretty much have a built in system for all that. Found out this info through AC forum. Very glad I did too. All is well in game land now. : ) Good Luck !!

Depending on which apps were updated, instead of deleting all the updates , usually the last one or two are the ones causing your problems. In my case it was the Clean Master app by Cheetah. Most devices are automatically set to update every thing you have installed ,which will use up your storage space fast. So I turn off auto udates completely and only update the ones I use the most so as not to use up precious storage space . This keeps you "in the know " about what's going on with your device and in control. Good Luck!!

You turn off Auto Updates through Play Store>Settings>Auto-update apps>DoNot Auto-update. There's three options to select from so you can choose what will be appropriate for you. Good Luck !!
