Android Central Question

After the last system update I got this little battery icon with 100% in it and when I swipe down the top of the screen there is this notification banner that has "android system" Nd say battery fully charged on it.

It wasn't there before the unwanted, unsolicited, and useless update was forced on me.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? The system update probably wasn't completely useless, since it most likely also included important security updates. But it's true that system updates can also come with changes to the user interface. You probably can't change the battery notification, unless you root the phone.
