How do I get rid of this virus?

Hi I own a Samsung tablet. I've been dealing with an issue for a long time and I'm just fed up now. I'm sure I have a virus. I'll be using my tablet and all of a sudden whatever app I was on will be closed and I'll be redirected to Chrome. Then I'll be looking at some "Win a free iphone!" Or "Don't play this game if you're under 18!" page. More often than not when I try to close it I'm bombarded with popups that want me to block or allow notifications (I always hit block) or sometimes the popups keep coming back until I eventually get Chrome closed. Another issue is I get actual notifications once in awhile. The icon is an orange-red star. They say something about deals or rewards. This might be from a shopping site I joined and forgot about though. All of these things have been going on for a while. The only thing I can think of that caused this is I streamed the movie IT from some sketchy site. Something else to note is I was recently grounded for 3 months. When I got my tablet back, for the first week, I wasn't having these issues. I hadn't factory reset my tablet then. But I am sure I have numerous times, and I keep getting these popups. Can anyone tell me if this problem is solvable or is my poor tablet doomed lol

Hi! Have you installed any suspicious apps from the play store, downloaded something off of the internet, or clicked on any suspicious links lately? If so, that may be the cause of the popups. Some wallpaper apps give you pop ups too. So you should check if that's the problem by uninstalling any apps that add a wallpaper to your home/lock screen.

This might be caused by some kind of malware/adware.
