How do i get rid of "wifi off" notification

In my notification pull down menu it keeps saying "wifi off, click here to turn on"

its really annoying. how do I get rid of that?

Try pulling down the shade, long pressing it, click App info, then uncheck the notification box.

the notification box is locked out, cannot uncheck.

That is the only way I know to stop a notification from coming up. Sorry.

I think you can't get rid of it unless you root your phone and install a custom rom. A lot of Verizon users hate that wifi notification...me included
