How do I get underlining spelling errors (in red) on Samsung S5?

Underlining spelling errors (in red) on Samsung S5.

Searched through the forum but unable to find a solution. Just bought a new S5 and can't seem to find how to underline spelling errors. Was thinking it would be a simple solution but can't seem to find it.

I'm not looking for auto-correct, as it generally makes more mistakes then corrections and i already have predictive text turned on that will show me spelling suggestions for the word I'm typing but the phone currently isn't showing spelling errors.

Could somebody please tell me how to turn this feature on?

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Language & Input, and see if there is a Spell Checker option there.

only thing i can find remotely close is on the Google Keyboard
Settings>Language & Input > Google Keyboard Settings > Text Corrections > Show correction suggestions
which only displays suggested on the word I'm currently typing.
