How do I hard reset a Afunta 9 Tablet?

how to hard reset a Afunta 9" Tablet

I have a afunta tablet i bought about a year ago and i havent used it in a while, and i forgot my password i set. Ive heard i can hard reset it and get into recovery settings but everytime i do a different button combo it just has a blank screen with the green power light on. It doesnt look like it loads anything but who knows.
Any help is appreciated

I can't find any specs on it, but if it's connected to a cellphone carrier, bring it to the carrier and they can unlock it without resetting it (and losing all your apps and data).
