How do I import PDFs into S Note on Note 5?

One of the features I am told exists in Note 5 is the ability to write on a PDF. Now, I have managed to do this, but only if I then turn that section of writing into a clipping and put into my scrapbook. Cumbersome. In forums for Note 4s I have found threads that indicate that you can import pdfs to S note and have the capacity to write on all of the pdf and save as is - without having to create a separate clipping for each written section. To do this, it is suggested that one 'import' a document into S Note. However, the instructions for 'importing' do not seem to apply to the Note 5 and I cannot find the import function. Please help!

Well I just tried it, all you do is go into s note then go to more and then select import pdf.

Importing into S-Note is the long way.
Many if not all of the office apps, as well as adobe Reader and xodo have that functionality.
The t-mobile and I think the sprint versions have samsung's write on PDF app.

Thanks - me23brown. Actually it wasn't that simple on mine. I had to add in an extension first and only then did the 'more' offer 'import pdf'. However, that still did not allow me to write on a whole pdf in S note - I could only write by taking those silly clips and putting them in the clipboard. Nevertheless, I have finally found that it works in adobe reader...so yes, pool_shark, I am forgetting about S-Note for the stuff I want to do. Thanks for the tips about other apps!

When you open a PDF, hit the 3 dots on the top right, then select open with. It's that easy.
