How do I know if my Samsung Galaxy S2 9.7" tablet is a 2015 model?

I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy S2 8.0 tablet and want to buy a cover. I cannot figure out if it is a 2015 model which is a question they ask. Can you help me?

Luckily the 2015 and 2016 versions of the Samsung Galaxy S2 8.0" have the same physical size dimensions. The 2016 model was just a small refresh of the same design. So doesn't matter what year the case was designed for. The only difference was a processor upgrade from a Exynos 5433 chipset to a Snapdragon 652 processor. The box may have some specifications on it. Just look for the processor you have.
