How do i know if someone had read my text?

How can i tell if someone has read a text message from my LG phone?

You don't. Remember, texting is an implementation of the old pocket pager protocol. Since the pager was almost always kept on, and had no transmitter, there was no way to signal back that the pager had been looked at. Maybe RCS, when fully implemented, will do that. (Some texting apps let you know that the text was opened by the receiving phone, but there's no way, text or email, to tell if it was read.
