Android Central Question

I am very UNtechie, Please help me with some basic easy instructions.i.e. to watch prime vidos on t.v. I am older and I would really appreciate the help. Or if I am in the wrong place please let me know.

Welcome to Android Central! Does your TV have built-in Google Cast or Chromecast? If not, then the best way is to get a Chromecast and connect it to the TV. Chromebooks don't have the option to use Samsung's own screen mirroring like you have on a phone.

At the top right of the screen there should be a cast icon. When you tap it can it find your TV?

I think that would assume the TV has Google Cast built-in, or a Chromecast attached, right? I don't think Chromebooks can take advantage of Samsung's own Miracast/DLNA solution.

I know nothing about Chrome books but came across that option while researching. It supposedly can cast the screen to the TV. The other option is an HDMI cable

Right, the casting is just like it is with the desktop Chrome browser -- to a Chromecast device.
