how do I make a new post on android app?

What device are you using? And do you want to make a new thread or just respond to a thread already created?

If you want to reply to a post, long press on the post and a menu will pop up.
To start a new thread, I'm not really sure, but in the old app, you pressed the three buttons at the bottom while on the main page of the forum and a menu would pop up. I haven't tried in the new app and I don't know if all phones have the menu button at the bottom.

Thanks. I see long pressing on a post brings up the reply and quote options..

and the nexus or android button in the bottom right, a column of 3 dots, has an option for start a new post. (I think with some apps it may be the top right.. but here it's on the bottom right). and is personalized for the app.
