How do i make bluetooth not connect to phone calls automatically

[Android Central Question]

My phone auto connects to bluetooth when I receive or make a call. I would like this to stop. Before an update forced me to reset my settings, it didnt do this

Which phone? Different manufacturers can have different ways.
Go to your Bluetooth device you have paired and click on it , do you see a toggle for calls?
