How do I make my S6 the most efficient??

So im waiting for my Tmobile S6 in the mail. I want to make it as fast as it can be right off the bat. Should I disable all apps I have no use for along with uninstalling apps that I will never use also. Anything Else I can do?? Im not into rooting or jailbreaking phones......just looking for advise on how to make the phone the fastest/most effiecient rt away.
