Android Central Question

Note 8, Latest Version of Android (for US Verizon), internal storage is almost full. Easy enough to move photos & videos from internal storage to SD card.
But.. none of the audio/music apps offer the option to "move to SD card" in any of their settings, and the MyFiles app lets you find all the audio files, but no "move to SD card" or even a "copy" option (just "move to secure storage") - even though the manuals all say different.

So... any thoughts on how to get 11g of audio from internal storage, to the SD card, and to set things up so future audio gets stored there?

Thanks!

Your favorite file browser app should easily do this.
You want to do a COPY, not a move. After confirming that the files copied correctly, you can go back and delete the originals on the internal storage.
If a MOVE from one "drive" to another goes bad, android tends to lose both the source and destination files permanently.

If you need a better file browser than the factory installed on, I like this one:

As for making the SD card the default location for media, this is a feature (or not) of the app you are using to download the media with.
Since 99% of my music is copied from my computer, I get to manually put it anywhere I want, which is on my SD card.

Welcome to Android Central! Remember that if you downloaded this music from a streaming service like Spotify or Google Play/YouTube Music, you won't be able to manipulate the files using a file manager, because those downloaded files will be in a protected system directory -- this is so that people don't "share" their music indiscriminately (i.e., pirate it).
