Battery Percentage

Hey all,

With the Nexus 6, is there not a way to permanently display the battery percentage in the top right? I know that one can drag the notification slide down to reveal it, but I'd rather have it up there permanently.

Thanks

Re: Battery Percentage

I use am app called battery percent enabler and it puts the percentage of battery relating on the battery icon on the notification bar. I think that is was you are looking for. It works great and makes it easy to see the percentage of battery left. https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...tv0dpD] Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

Re: Battery Percentage

Have you tried Settings/General/Battery/Show battery percentage?

That options isn't available on Nexus phones. The batter percentage app mentioned above works, but I find it too small to be useful. I use an app called better battery Widget to show the batter percentage in the top left of the status bar.

I would rather the percentage be like on the lock screen, to the right of the battery icon, but that can't be done using stock Android.

Re: Battery Percentage

Thanks all. Was hoping to avoid an app. But apparently that's the way I'll have to go.

Re: Battery Percentage

You can use Gsam Battery Monitor. Besides the icon you'll get very detailed battery stats. Another app I've used is Power Toggles with tons of extra features.

Re: Battery Percentage

If you aren't interested in rooting the only other option I'm aware of is by downloading an app

Re: Battery Percentage

It's not really an app in the sense you probably think. The battery percentage enabled triggers a hidden feature of Nexus phones that is present more readily in the 6.0 previews.

+1, you run it once, it turns something on in the OS and you can delete the app. Setting stays.
