How do i recover my password for samsung galaxy s5 mini???

I forgot my backup password & fingerprint option is not displaying on my screen.i tried to unlock my phone thru android device manager but its not working..its showing a pop up like unable to find ur location.my device name is showing but after clicking on lock button still m unable to recover the password..please suggest something...

Welcome to Android Central! Fingerprint sensors are not foolproof, which is why it's important to remember that backup password. If you fail the unlock enough times, does it ask you for your Google information?

I have the same problem. It does not ask for my google info but just tell me to wait 30 sec.
I tried to reset to password through the google find my phone, but it just tell me that i allready have a password so it do not reset.
