How to reinstall android on my Chinese smart phone?

Hi - I recently purchased a Chinese smartphone while in China and I would like to install a "Western" version of the Android OS. I tried installing the Google Play Store by downloading the apk but it would not run properly, hence the desire to reinstall.

Its current stats are:
Model: TCL_P620M
Hardware version: S01
Android Version: 5.0
Build Number: TCL_P620M_V2.7

There are also some other info like "baseband version" and "kernel version." If that information is also needed, please let me know and I can post them as well. Can someone please help? I know next to nothing about smartphones....

The problem you will find is that there is little or no support for such devices. All I could find was stuff in Chinese. You certainly won't find custom roms. Bottom line is there's not a lot you are going to be able to do with it. There is a Chinese devices Web site which you may wish to check out

You need to download the manufacturer's flashing tool and a stock ROM file. If you can't read Chinese, or know someone who can, your chances are fat, slim and none.
