How to remove 2nd email account from Samsung S5

I am new to Android, I have a Samsung Galazy S5, recently upgraded the software. I have 2 email accounts that I use 2 different icons to access. Noticed in Gmail app, i can have both email addresses appear, I added 2nd email address, but don't like the way it works, and want to go back to how I had it before, but I am unable to delete the 2nd email address within Gmail. I have tried to follow the instructions in Gmail Help, but I don't have the options they suggest. They say from Gmail, go into Settings, Accounts and Import, Check mail from other accounts, and delete the one I want to remove. I don't have the Accounts and import option. I have gone into my Email through settings and removed the 2nd email all together, but it still appears in my Gmail app.............how do I get rid of it from Gmail? I want to have to apps, 1 for Gmail and another for 2nd email address.

From the GMail app in your phone, you can tap on the menu button (left corner) to open the menu side bar. There, tap on your account and a drop down menu should appear with both accounts listed. Just select the MANAGE ACCOUNTS option, select the one you want to delete, tap the menu button there, and select REMOVE ACCOUNT.
