AC Question

Hi, I have the galaxy S5---I don't use the included 'EMAIL' App, and would like to remove it from my list/screens of apps. I did turn it off, but the app still remains in the list. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Go to settings, apps and disable it. After that the app will appear just in the disabled tab.

Not sure you can remove the stock app. What I do is create a folder of unused apps and stuff things like this in there (e.g. Samsung's hubs etc). At least then there is only one folder full of unused stuff rather than a while load of unused stuff all over the place.

Cheers

Nick

If you are rooted you can use a root explorer (I prefer ES file explorer) and go into device/system/apps and remove the APK for the stock email client. Reboot. Profit. This will work with any app you do not want on your phone, just be careful. Also, if you're rooted you can download Titanium Backup and delete it that way. If you aren't rooted....no dice.
