How do I remove Face book contacts from phone dialer?

1 thing I do not like is the HTC face book contacts that shoe up in the phone dialer how do I remove them? have unchecked sync contacts but still show

People>Menu>View> Uncheck Facebook for HTC Sense

That seems to remove them from the people list, but when you hit phone on the home screen everybody still shows up, even with HTC Facebook unchecked. Am I doing something incorrectly?

I noticed this as well and I haven't found a solution. When I open Contacts, it only shows those groups that I checked as visible. However, when I'm dialing a number or name, all groups, including Facebook, seem to be listed. Kind of annoying.

Go to the Friendstream app and remove the Facebook account. If you use this app, add the Facebook account back and uncheck "sync contacts".
